Rockin’ Reviews – Geography of Murder
This week, I’m reviewing a book that isn’t about music at all. I did let you know I’d be switching it up at times right?
Well this one definitely deserves a look! It’s a murder mystery with twists and turns and some hot sex to boot. Even has a little BDSM thrown in. What is this book you ask? The one on the right by fab author PA Brown.
I mean, what’s not to like about it. The book is gripping from page one with Detective Alexander Spider in hot pursuit of a killer who beats a well known child molester to death on a boat. Our other hero, Jason Zachary is an avid bird watcher, a sub and has a knack to stay in trouble. Unfortunately, this poor sap is found next to a dead body and has n clue of what’s going on. Bring him together with no nonsense dom, Detective Alexander Spider and you’ve got a great tandem.
I love books that keep you on the edge of you seat. This one delivers. The whole time you’re wondering who really did kill the pedophile and then another ends up dead and you’re looking for a connection.
I don’t want to tell you too much because you have to read it yourself to enjoy it. No, its not really a gay romance though the two characters do hook up during the story but it’s a crime mystery, suspenseful, gripping and you won’t be able to put it down. I stayed up all night and didn’t leave my bed so I could finish it.
I will be reading the second one very soon and hope PA Brown continues to put out great books. 5 horns and kudos to Miss Brown for putting out a great book! \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/

All Jason Zachary wants is to keep the loneliness and despair at bay. He escapes to the clubs where drugs and a warm body for the night offer fleeting comfort. But when he wakes one morning, dazed after another blackout, to find himself in bed with a dead body, his life careens him into the arms of Detective Alexander Spider. For Jason, Spider becomes an addiction, a drug that makes him feel alive and safe; his body craves Spider’s control, and Jason falls hard.
But Alex Spider sees the darker side of humanity daily, and he isn’t looking for connections, only to drown himself in encounters with nameless subs willing to let him play his bondage games. His attraction to Jason begins as lust for one more golden boy, but their games of pain and pleasure grow into a tenuous trust, arousing feelings in Spider that are the first light he’s seen in a long time.
But as Spider races to solve a brutal homicide, the daily grind of the job takes its toll, and Spider’s control slips dangerously. A killer closes in, and Spider must confront his own inner darkness, while Jason struggles to save himself by making some hard choices.
