Blurb: Hollywood royalty Jeremy Jameson has lived a sheltered life with music as his sole focus and only friend. Before embarking on yet another international concert tour, he wanders into a bar in what he considers the middle of nowhere and meets a man who wins him over with his friendly smile and easy-going nature. Accountant slash bartender slash adventure-seeker Reg Moore has fun talking and drinking with The Jeremy Jameson and can’t say no when the supposedly straight rock star makes him a once in a lifetime offer: keep him company on his tour by playing the part of his boyfriend.
Listening to music, traveling the world, and jumping off cliffs is fun. Falling in love is even better. But to stay with Jeremy after the stage lights dim, Reg will need to help him realize there’s nothing pretend about their relationship.
When I picked up this book. I was immediately excited. Gay male rock stars always do it for me. *grins* However, what I read and expected were two different things. I expected a story about a closeted gay male musician who falls for an out man he met while on tour. Almost, but not quite. Instead, Perfect Imperfections is about a straight man who falls in love with another guy but not until after he strikes up a deal for the bartender to accompany him while he’s on tour.
What a story! It’s definitely a slow build so if you’re not into that, you might give it a pass. There were times I was like get together already but the more I thought about it, the characters didn’t need an instant love situation because Jeremy Jameson was STRAIGHT! And btw, I’m usually not into gay for you stories either, but I was into this from beginning to end. And when the two of them finally got together, Cardeno didn’t disappoint with the love scenes. There is one part in particular I won’t spoil because I don’t want to ruin it. All I can say is Fleshlight. *winks* You get the picture.
By the way, the characters were very well written. I felt sorry for Jeremy, basically devoid of real love his whole life and Reg, who sounded like a hottie by the way, was there to teach and guide him through everything.
Cardeno gave us insight into their relationship from beginning to end and I’ll be reading more of Cardeno’s books in the future.
4 horns and great cover!

Meeting Drezden Halifax should have been a dream. But dreams are supposed to be sweet, fragile things that whisk you away. Not monsters crafted from hard fingers, gritty vocal cords and a voice so powerful it could tear my guts right out.
Maybe my heart, too.
Becoming the guitarist for Four and a Half Headstones was everything I needed.
Too bad the band’s lead singer is doing his best to ruin everything I am.
He thought she would solve his troubles:
Lola Cooper, god damn Lola Cooper. She was the perfect guitarist, fingers that could summon a sweet song or punch a chord. She’s supposed to save my band, make us come out of this tour in one piece…
But I just want to tear HER to pieces.
No one should make me feel this way. One look at her, one smell, and I knew I’d have to have her. She does things to me that scare the shit out of me. Make me want to slam her on a wall and listen to her cries: eager or fearful, it doesn’t matter.
I’m a monster…
And I don’t even care

I’ve been overdosing on rock and roll reads lately and most of the m/f variety but some m/m is coming so stay tuned. However this read by Nora Flite definitely kept me interested. It starts with a fight within the band Four and a Half Headstones. (love the name) The singer Drezden and the guitarist get into a squabble so bad, Drezden ends up kicking Johnny out. Enter in young female guitarist, Lola Cooper who’s brother Sean is from another band called Barbed Wire. He encourages her to try out for Four and a Half who is one of the biggest hard rock bands known to man. When Lola goes to try out, she makes it in and basically sparks fly between her and Drezden leaving both of them confused and wondering if they really should do something about their attraction or stay away so they wouldn’t cause any friction. No sex in this book, not even kisses and the sexual tension in this book can’t be cut with a butcher knife.
Wow is all I can say. I was blown away with the descriptions by the author from the way Lola played as well as the band’s sound. And as I said, I really enjoyed all the tension between these two and want to know more about what happens to them in the next book. Even better, Mrs. Flite captured rock life on the road perfectly; caravans of fans following you city to city, groupies throwing themselves at you, and band members having tense moments while they practice. All real!
What a great read. I’m looking forward to finishing out this series since there are 3 more books. I’ll make sure and do a review for the rest when I’m done.
Greetings dudes and dudettes, this is Corey with another review but not a rock and roll book. Instead, I’m talkin about hot twinsex, yes, twincest by the master of tension, Mercy Celeste. And let me just say this book is hot, real, hot, I mean sizzling sex that made me wanna go find a set myself to experiment with. *chuckles* And as per usual, Mercy has so much going on outside the bedroom, you have to keep reading.
So, yeah there is your warning; TWINCEST, that means sex between brothers. This would be the fifth or sixth book I’ve read with this kind of taboo. And really, other than Broken by Sage Whistler which is my fave twinsexy book, Mercy’s offering takes the cake.
Start off with the twins, Kyle and Kevin who have the hots for each other. One is gay, the other is supposedly straight. Both play football for the same school and during a trip back home from a game, one brother gets all horny… heh, and the other takes care of the problem. Bold right? I love how Mercy takes chances. They’re nineteen which makes them barely legal but hey as long as they’re not kids it’s all good. Moving on, the brothers are totally into one another and what makes it interesting is that some of their friends recognize the attraction. There’s also an episode with a mean girl who’s trying to get both into trouble as well as fighting parents, a coach who’s in the closet with his assistant, and an asshole father to boot. Didn’t I just say this was a Mercy book? It can’t be all pretty colors and hot sex, right? She’s gotta give her characters hell before the end of the book.
The only thing that bothered me was the ending. I mean, the parents end up divorcing and the mean girl gets what she deserves but there is not settlement for the twins. They’re going to different schools, they made love, and being forced out by their father when they’re caught in mid fuck. What happens to Kyle and Kevin next? It left me wanting more and damnit if I don’t get my ending for these two I’ll be sadly disappointed. Even if its just an HFN it will be fine but give me resolution, damnit.
Still, Mercy did a great job giving me a hot twin story with lots of tension as only Mercy can write. Also a note, i’m disappointed to see Mercy allow the idiots to get to her and pull this book. My bro muse Michael has done 3 with a fourth coming. Write what you want Mercy. Your fans love you

Mornin peeps. You know how much I dig rock n roll books so my first guest here at Corey’s is an author of such a story. Jenna Galicki has this awesome series going on with a bisexual rock star. No, not pansexual like me, bi. He’s married to a woman and hot after a man. Look at that cover! *smiles* I’m definitely excited to read this and will be reviewing when Shar can stop drinking in NOLA and come back to the Chi. *chuckles* For now, Jenna’s giving us some bios for her characters.

Greetings dudes and dudettes, welcome to Corey’s with another rockin review. So, I needed something a little different this time. Not a rock and roll read but something that might push a few buttons and give me some ideas. Well, I found it in this book called His Roommate’s Pleasure and let me tell ya, I was hooked from the word go.
It starts out with a college student, Adam is his name, who needs to get his paper turned in and finished in minutes. His computer is giving him fits so in desperation, he decides to use his roommate Josh’s to get it done. When finished, he notices some of the pictures and errr, he isn’t ready for some of the things he sees. Now, at this juncture, I was assuming that Adam is straight but he’s actually not which kinds of adds fuel to the fire. So what does he see? Some gay porn pics of men being dominated, in cuffs, etc and well he REALLY likes what he sees. The kicker, Adam has thought all this time that his roommate is straight. He seems like the typical jock; plays sports, hangs around a lot of girls but obviously by looking at some of the files on his screen he isn’t. This harkens back to an old adage, never can tell a book by its cover. *smiles* In other words, you don’t really know what a person is about from just looking at the outside. What moves the story along is while Adam is getting all hot and bothered by ogling the pics, Josh walks in on him and instantly the conversation between two men who thought they were different begins.
This story really grabbed me. The interaction, the sexual tension between Josh and Adam was thick. And the author did well by keeping it going all the way up to the end when Adam and Josh final figure out they MIGHT have a little more going on than just a mutual appreciation for BDSM. I really enjoyed this book. It’s a modestly sized read, since Shar cannot handle bigger novels while writing. *smiles* and the author did a great job painting the picture of these two characters finding love in a much different way. And by the way, the sex was hot. Yes the playing got me going but when they actually did the deed, I was ready for it. Very well done Lana and I will be looking for more by this author.
4 Horns and damn hot cover as well!
Blurb: Taken from Goodreads
It started with an accidental click…but where will it end?
Desperate to turn in a paper, Adam borrows his roommate’s computer and mistakenly opens a folder that contains Josh’s collection of porn. Adam had no idea that his jock roommate was gay—and into leashes, paddles and domination. And Adam, an inexperienced virgin who’s only ever kissed one guy, is surprised to find himself curious about submitting…
Josh can’t believe that his roommate discovered his spank bank—and he can’t believe that Adam is so turned on by the thought of giving up control to someone. Taking a chance, he offers to look through the photos with Adam…and maybe try acting some of them out.
Night after night, the boys delve into their darkest fantasies of domination and submission. And as lust and experimentation grow into the promise of something deeper, Adam must decide if he’s brave enough to tell Josh how he feels.
